Does Scott take commissions?

Typically he does not as he wants to focus on his own ideas and designs. His work is typically very involved and limited in the number of paintings he can do each year…
 

How long does it usually take to create an original painting?

From initial concept to completed painting it can take as long as six months, but is usually it involves about two to three months.
 

How long will it take to receive a print that I ordered?

Typically, each print is created upon order and shipped within a week. Special editions that include gold leaf application in the image will take longer.
 

How are originals shipped?

As an original piece of art, it is crated in wood with ample cushion to protect the piece. Depending on its size, the shipping method will involve a major carrier or trucking line. All are are insured for the purchase price.
 

How have the primitive window frames been restored?

The antique frames are typically between 100 years to 250 years old. Once acquired, we clean, do any needed restoration and then coated with a furniture wax blend and lightly polished. Each frame is one of a kind and typically has “Character” in the form of wear and aging.
 

Where do the window frames come from?

We acquire them through several primitive furniture sources that have acquired them from India and surrounding areas.
